All products are CE marked according to the test method EN 71-1/2. The materials are synthetic (generally materials used for this type of product) to minimize the formation of bacteria and mold when the teddy bear gets damp, they also make washing easier and minimize allergies. All products are washable at 30 degrees hand wash and flame retardant. All eyes are tensile and locked, which means that they are attached to the fur like pop rivets.

Piggy has pop riveted bead eyes (tensile) and a sewn nose.
